Gary–So sorry to miss the meeting tonight. I really care about the issues you’ll be addressing. I’d appreciate it if you could revisit the parking restrictions on the north side of our street. I suspect that the “continual illegal parking” is symptomatic of the need for parking there. I know it has been a true hardship for me and others of limited means to keep our cars now that alternate parking is all but impossible. Would it be influential if I gathered names on a new petition? I’d do it in a flash to regain the use of my car.
As for the rest, you know you have my full support in the battle against St. VIncent’s. I’ll look forward to reading your update on that and on the problems of construction and crime on the block.
I wish I could join you tonight, but please put me on your email list so that I can plan to attend in the future. And thanks for all your work! (Except, of course, the parking thing), Lanie (Zera) 175 West 13th Street
